hello everyone, it's your girl @becky23 and I'm back with an interesting topic. Today, I want to talk about something I believe everyone should learn, especially as we grow older - knowing your worth.

The importance of knowing your worth.

Knowing your worth means understanding your value as a person. It means knowing that you deserve to be respected, appreciated and treated well. It doesn't mean thinking you are better than everyone else, rather it means understanding that you should not constantly settle for less because you are afraid of being alone, rejected or left behind.

sometimes, we don't realize our worth until we find ourselves in situations where people may make us like we are not good enough. this can happen in friendships, relationships , school , work or even in our everyday interactions. someone may make you feel like your efforts don't matter, or you may constantly compare yourself with other people and begin to believe that you're not doing enough.

Actually the truth is that everybody has their own journey.

You may look at someone and admire their achievements without knowing what they went through to reach there. at the same time, someone else may be looking at you and wishing they had something that you have.

This is why constantly comparing yourself to others can make you forget your own progress.

Knowing your worth also means understanding that you don't have to beg people to value you. Of course, relationships require communication, compromise and understanding but you should not have to lose yourself completely just to keep someone in your life.

There is a difference between accepting your mistakes and believing that you are worthless because of them. we all make mistakes, we all have weaknesses , we all have areas where we need to improve but none of these things take away our value as human beings.

Another important part of knowing your worth is learning to set boundaries . sometimes saying "NO" does not make you a bad person . choosing yourself does not automatically mean you are selfish. take time to grow, rest , focus on your goals is also important.

As young people, we can easily feel pressured to prove ourselves . we want to succeed quickly, make money, have good relationships and make everyone proud , but while pursuing this things we should not forget ourselves. you are still growing, learning and becoming a better version of yourself. so learn to appreciate yourself, celebrate your small achievements , learn from your mistakes , improve where you need to improve but don't constantly put yourself down.

At the end of the day knowing your worth is not about demanding that everyone recognize your value. sometimes, it is simply about recognizing it yourself. Thank you for taking your time to read my post until next time, keep growing, keep learning and never forget your worth.it's still your girl @becky23.
