My Crazy Dinner Combination

Have you ever craved a particular food so badly that you decided to improvise with whatever you had available? Well, that was exactly what happened to me today. I was craving shawarma, but instead of going out to buy some, I decided to try something different with the things I had at home. I came up with a combination that might sound a little crazy, but trust me, it wasn't bad at all.

For my little food experiment, I used:

• Sliced bread

• Suya

• Mayonnaise

I started with my sliced bread. This was going to be the base of my homemade shawarma substitute. I already had an idea of what I wanted, so I was ready to put everything together.

Next came the suya. The suya was the star of this experiment because I wanted that rich, spicy, meaty taste that usually makes shawarma so enjoyable.

^{I didn't get much though}

I spread mayonnaise on the bread. I wanted something creamy to complement the spicy suya, and mayonnaise seemed like a good option.

^{Applyingmy mayonnaise}

After spreading the mayonnaise, I placed the suya on the bread. At this point, my little experiment was beginning to look like something I could actually enjoy.

^{This was later turning out well}

I added the other part of the bread on top to make a sandwich. Just look at that, I was officially making my own version of shawarma without all the usual ingredients.

^{My finished shawarma 😅}

And here was the final result. I paired my food with a bottle of Pepsi and got ready to enjoy my creation.

^{I had to redo this again, because it tasted delicious}

Honestly, I enjoyed it more than I expected. The spicy suya and creamy mayonnaise worked together, while the bread brought everything together. It wasn't exactly shawarma, but it satisfied my craving enough for me to appreciate my little experiment.

Sometimes, trying something new with food can be fun. Would you try bread, suya, and mayonnaise, or do you think I have gone too far with this combination?
