“THUS, I WILL STRENGTHEN THE ARMS OF THE KING OF BABYLON, BUT THE ARMS OF PHARAOH SHALL FALL DOWN; they shall know that I am the LORD, when I put My sword into the hand of the king of Babylon and he stretches it out against the land of
Egypt.”
Ezekiel 30:25 (NKJV)

Whoever is prevailing or progressing should know that God is the One behind the success. Here in this passage of the Bible, God talks about strengthening the arms of the king of Babylon, but weakens the arms of Pharaoh, the king of Egypt. Now, the victory of the king of Babylon would not necessarily be because of his military expertise, but God's hand with him—God's support for him.

A similar thing happened in the valley of Rephidim when Joshua was fighting with the Amalekites, Moses with Aaron and Ur were standing on the mountain with a rod lifted to heaven by Moses. When Moses hands were going down the Israelites started losing whilst when his hands were up, they started prevailing (Exodus 17:8-13).

What was determining the outcome of the war or battle was Moses hands—God's involvement.

If God strengthened a group of armies or an individual person or believer, such a person should be able to acknowledge God as the source of his victory. When you ascribe the glory due God to another person or thing, or the self, you might be left to yourself—it means you will no longer receive God's backings.

The truth is, if anything is working: blossoming and flourishing in your life, you would do well to know and acknowledge that God is the reason for it. Nothing happens by chance!

Whatever good you are experiencing in your life, the glory of it should be given or attributed to God. No one on earth should give or ascribe any Glory to himself or herself, all the glory must and should be given to God.

You will not fail and fall in Jesus' name.

Peace.
