"Whoever it is that said I was a mad woman on vlog yesterday is going to die. I curse you with my blood..."

A woman—clearly out of her mind—was recording herself cutting her palm as she cursed the blogger. I felt quite ashamed. It was my neighbour at it again.

What started as a playful business has gotten quite intense. Now it was a battle of curses. I'm used to the fact that mad people could grow their accounts quickly on social media, but now people are actually turning mad for it.

As I walked into a nearby shop, I could hear the gossipers speak.

"Did you see that woman? Did you hear that their fight is a serious matter? Just last week she ordered boys to break into Kolidee's house. Thankfully he had five sets of big dogs with heads the size of lions. Who knows what they would've done?"

The first short lady spoke. I was trying to size her height because this tall me was obviously shorter.

"Can you believe the most funny fact?" she continued. "This woman was the one that started this fight. She was planning to frame the rich guy for getting her daughter pregnant, only to discover through blood test that it was a shoe cobbler that had the unborn child."

"Haaaa!" she exclaimed. "No wonder!"

"No wonder what?" the other friend asked.

"That man has not opened shop for the last two..."

"Gossipers! See them!"

The tall girl's mother interrupted. "I sent you to get toothpaste thirty minutes ago, and you're here discussing with your friend!"

Her slippers locomoted to her hands, and with a channel of energy, the slippers formed an arc, landing at the back of her neck.

"Is that where I sent you?"

With a twark! She danced straight to her mission.

"Children of nowadays, you don't even show respect anymore, and later you will come and be asking me money for data. What kind of rubbish is that?" She said this now looking at me like I was the one she sent on errand. Her aura gave me chills, but I could only try to calm her down.

"Don't be offended ma, they're still children," I said.

"Which kind of children? You mean a 17-year-old is still a child? And she will be 18 in the next two months! If not because of all these government laws, I would have beaten the hell out of her. What rubbish!"

I regretfully told her she shouldn't be annoyed.

After that afternoon saga, I was on my way home. Thankfully, they had stopped the cursing saga.

In the evening, an elder came to counsel the quite vexed neighbour. She couldn't stop cursing the vlogger, but then the man gave a speech.

"Madam! Won't you stop all this cursing that you're cursing? Why did you not curse your children that they become great inventors or solution makers? Is it not your daughter you're fighting for? Why did you not curse her that she would look for someone quite responsible?

"Now where's the shoe cobbler? He has run away, and you can't get anything about him. He has run away, and now you're cursing someone that's obviously more successful than you.

"Look at all the job opportunities he has created for a lot of graduates, and you're here looking for who to blame.

"This life is not milk and honey. If you don't set good examples for your children, they will do worse and raise many powers.

"It's better you gather your children, especially the one that is still chatting with smokers beside my house. Gather them and counsel them."

The woman was speechless and defeated.

Hearing their discussion through the window made me feel grateful. I was also trying to make the same point to her one time when I was landed with a dirty slap that said, "Who send you message?"

It was all over thanks to that wise elder. If he had not intervened, things could have gotten a lot worse.

When I woke up the next day, she was apologizing to the man on social media. She still feared going to his house because of the lion-like dogs.
