Playing SteemLudo while I wait.

While waiting for my kid to finish his chores, I decided to play a quick game of Ludo—and it certainly was quick, since things didn't go very well for me and it ended fast because the bot kept getting all the right rolls.

The thing is, the Ludo bot wouldn't let me move forward; it captured my pieces about four times and completely blocked my progress—at that point, I had already written the game off as a loss.

And here, I had finally managed to get a piece out to start the circuit, while the bot had nearly brought two pieces home; the advantage was absolute. The only thing that could have helped me was a lucky roll of the dice, but that didn't happen.

The bot was two and a half times ahead of me in the game, while I was barely moving my first piece; the game was a lost cause.

That was the only time I managed to capture one of the bot's pieces; the game progressed without major hitches, but the bot made the most headway.

Here is what happened in the match: the obvious winner was the Ludo bot, which didn't let me breathe for a moment—or even hold onto any hope. I don't know what can be done against that kind of luck.
