Mystical

He was walking forward in the middle of the city. The crowded streets made noise that one was not able to hear himself thinking. He was busy thinking, if he can make it there on time. He did not have a clear destination though. It was just his hunch that tells him that he is on the right path. The city started to get empty, little by little. He did not notice it, until everything turned mystical. There are no people around, no street. Just the white leaves trees, with the clouds covering them. The streets turned to sand and is now leading towards that huge mountain. The whole place turned from ordinary to mystical. Just right then, he stopped talking about it. He said to his spouse, that is all that he could remember seeing when he was sick. Then, he thought, it could be the fever. But, something was true about what he has seen. Everyone around seemed sure of where they are going. In reality, it is their brain that draws a path on top of their imagination. They may end up reaching somewhere different than what they initially wanted to be. But, their steps become the success story.
