Loss Of Memory
It was bright outside. The sunlight was coming from the only window in the room which is in front of the bed. He felt a heat on his face and woke up. He tried to put one leg down. But, he could not. He was a bit far from the edge of the bed. The bed was bigger than he remembered it. He did not think about this twice, he just moved to the side and stood up. To see his big room as if it was the first time seeing it. He was definitely there yesterday. There is so much of weirdness in the place, as if something was not right. He opened the door and saw the stairs leading downstairs. It was as if he slept in a palace. He thought, they must have spent a fortune on building it. He heard a sound of people speaking softly. He could not recognize the voices. He stood on the first step of the stairs to see them. But, he could not. They must be staying in a separate room or something. He saw the plants downstairs, and said to himself: "those are really beautiful, they must have a good taste when it comes to decorations". As soon as he reached the ground floor, he saw three young girls sitting on the couch and talking. They did not notice his presence. He thought, are they guests? He followed up asking himself: where is this place? Not realizing that, the only thing that has been left to him after his loss of memory condition was the unrecognizable ashes of the past.

I can't imagine life after a loss of memory. It is as though you don't remember but you somewhat do and there may be feelings attached to the faded memories as you see things around you.
I agree. It is tough to imagine. I think that there is always a sort of feeling attached to writing, even if it was not entirely real one.
Thanks for passing by,
I have the same feeling too. Most of the time, I translate my memories into writing, imagining and reconnecting with the feelings I had in similar situations.
It was a pleasure reading you. Thank you for writing 🫶
You reminded me of a saying that I came across sometime before about the fact that, although everyone comes from a different background. But, the human experience is similar.
Thanks for passing by, :)
