Hi creative Steemians,
This is a creative photography competition. Following a discussion amongst participants and a consultation with @wakeupkitty, I have decided to turn it into a comment competition.
Why? Because the entries are getting worse and worse, and it seems that some participants have lost their creativity and enjoyment of chasing shadows. Comments have already been made about this.

This is what I picture when I go to feed the chickens; there aren't as many of them as there used to be.
I slaughtered all the fully grown ones for the Mawlid feast on the 25th of last month, and I sold some to a friend.
Now, only the young ones and a few hens remain; even the young ones weigh nearly a kilogram.
I really enjoy raising chickens; they are especially useful for feasts, or—if there’s no meat dish at home—I can simply slaughter one.

The last photo really does look like something out of a fairy tale; at first glance, it looks just like the goose girl. It seems you’re the favourite! It’s great to have pets; they’re just like children who follow you around all the time and never leave you in peace, especially when it comes to food, hahaha. And well done for taking part.

How cute the chicken are. My little daughter love them very much. She bought many times but unfortunately the chickens are not alive.
Ya.... mungkin sedang kena penyakit ayam, di rumah kakak ku juga sudah banyak yang mati ayamnya, Alhamdulillah ayam-ayam ku masih selamat kecuali ayam broiler yang sudah mati beberapa ekor dan sekarang tinggal 6 ekor lagi, yang 4 ekor sudah lama mati.
Biasanya kalau sedang ada penyakit ayam, aku akan merendamkan sedikit beras dengan minyak tanah, lalu kuberikan untuk ayam, kalau mereka tidak mau makan secara langsung karena bau minyak tanah, akan saya campur lagi dengan gabah atau pun nasi, insyaallah ayam-ayam ku sehat dan tidak mati
Whenever I bought commercial chicks, they died very quickly; however, desi (indigenous) chicks usually grow up to become hens or roosters. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case lately—every time I bought desi chicks, they all died.
Mungkin masih ada wabahnya sehingga kita perlu menunggu untuk beberapa waktu baru bisa kembali memelihara ayam-ayam tersebut.
Ayam kampung jauh lebih bisa bertahan dari pada ayam broiler, dia tidak tahan panas dan juga perawatannya juga khusus.
Kalau ayam kampung dia lebih mudah merawatnya, makannya juga apa saja tidak masalah
I don't know a great deal about chickens, but I gather that desi (free-range/indigenous) chicken is superior to broiler chicken because it enters the world naturally and forages for its own food.
Benar sekali, ayam kampung jauh lebih bertahan dari pada ayam broiler, tapi jangan salah juga biar pun ayam kampung lebih bertahan kalau kena wabah yang sering kami sebut taeun dalam waktu seketika bisa mati semuanya, seperti flu burung juga.
Dulu ayam ku suka tidur di atas pohon dan lebih dari 10 ekor ayam dewasa, sementara di samping rumah ku sedang ada acara pengemasan bibit ikan bandeng dan mereka bekerja sampai pagi, penerangan lampu juga di ambil arus listrik dari rumah ku,
Tiba-tiba ayamnya jatuh dari pohon seperti hujan tidak sampai 30 menit ayamnya jatuh kebawah dan mati semuanya dalam keadaan berwarna ungu, untuk membuang bangkai ayam saja tidak boleh terkena tangan langsung karena katanya bisa menular walaupun kita tidak mati tapi bisa berbahaya dan menyebabkan kita sakit.
I am puzzled as to why the chickens suddenly died upon falling from the tree, given that there is no apparent reason. Could this be linked to the fish seed packaging work? If so, what substances involved in that process might have harmed the chickens? I am truly saddened by your loss.
I see your shadow more than the chickens hehe. And your chickens grow quite fast? Do they lay eggs everyday for you?
Hehe... my chickens aren't laying eggs right now; they're busy raising their chicks.
Hehe.. since you are taking care of them everyday, seeing them grow from baby chicks to full grown size, do you feel sad when it is time to slaughter your chickens?
Kita tidak boleh bersedih karena saya sembelih untuk acara kenduri maulid nabi besar Muhammad SAW dan itu sangat mulia, ayamnya memang sangat manja dengan saya, saya juga selalu berbicara dengannya dan mengatakan, semoga kalian sehat semua dan nanti kalian akan saya sembelih untuk kenduri pang ule Baginda nabi dan kalian harus senang.
Aku tidak tahu apakah mereka akan mengerti namun aku yakin sampai hari acara mereka semua sehat dan bisa di sembelih untuk kenduri.
Diamond, Orange, Fireworks
I just grabbed 3 of the same cups and started playing with the light. I didn’t even know how it would turn out.
The way the light cut through the glass and drew those patterns on the floor caught me.
One looks like a clear white diamond cut pattern.
The second one looks like an orange wheel.
And the last one looks like a firework.
It’s amazing how ordinary cups can look like art when the light hits them right.

There was a time when our jobs kept us in two different parts of Dhaka. We were married, but meeting each other was still something we had to plan around our work.
Then, on an autumn weekend, we finally managed to get some time for ourselves. We went to Ramna Park, walked around, talked, and simply enjoyed being together without worrying about work or the busy city. This photo was taken there. There’s nothing fancy about it , just our shadows on the grass, surrounded by fallen leaves. But somehow, I like this picture more than many of our posed photos. It reminds me of that particular time in our life when even a simple weekend walk together felt special.

Hereby my entry and I truly hope we will stick to the rules and share something we like to do.
It’s true, anyone taking part in the shadow photography competition keeps their eyes peeled for shadows all day long. I took the photos below at the Rembrandt House in Amsterdam. The security guard must have wondered what I was up to when he saw me not only taking a photo but also crouching down and leaning over it to capture this shadow from a different angle. Who knows, he might even have thought there was something special hidden behind it and later went to have a sneak peek to see what was so special. I didn’t say a word.

And totally agree @wakeupkitty, we won’t nitice the beauty of shadows until we hunt for it. These shadows have been there for years and only that day I noticed it. And to see them in a different shade, almost like a rainbow.
