Type freely and destroy not

Type what is in your mind, just type and type away. And if you are like me, who enjoys typing, get a nice keyboard and type away happily, to the motion and sensation of keyboard keys being pressed and the sound of keys tapping away in either a silent keyboard mode or partial silent mode or mechanical keyboard mode.

Writing without rules, without boundaries (but still follow the basic writing rules of being respectful, no vulgarity and et cetera of course), without format, without structure. It is all that flows from the head to the fingers as we type. And that is freewriting (for me).

Why do I like to freewrite? Well, when I do not know what to post for the day, just take a look at the prompts, and choose one to freewrite. Write whatever is in your mind, write just about anything and everything that comes to mind. It gives us content to write.

The prompt for today is nuclear bomb. What do I know about nuclear bomb? I do not know the technicalities of the make of a nuclear bomb for sure. But one thing is for sure, I do not like bomb of any kind, be it nuclear or not. I do not like destruction. In fact, I hate destruction. Period.

I can never understand why in the world people would choose to bomb and destroy lives of the innocent, of beautiful cities. Seeing all the destruction in the news, is extremely devastating. The suffering of all the innocent victims. Why? And when a nuclear bomb is used, the aftermath from radiation is even worse and can span across decades.

And even in a non-war situation, I can't comprehend when people chooses to destroy the good things that they have,. If they have a mental illness, I can sort of understand. Other than that, I don't. But then again, it is a lucrative business and it is about power at the end of the day. That is why there is no stopping in sight.
