Bake,
My sister started her cake-making business from home, focusing on creating and selling high-quality cakes, breads, brownies, and similar items. She has kept her prices very reasonable—making her products easily affordable for everyone—because she prioritizes quality over quantity. We have often pointed out to her that, given the hard work she puts in and the excellent quality of her products, her prices are far too low. However, her response is always the same: she wants to build a reputation in the market. She believes that by offering the best possible products, people will come to recognize their superior quality and will happily place repeat orders. Consequently, she refuses to compromise on quality for the sake of making more money.
Almost everything she prepares is so fresh, crisp, and delicious that one cannot stop eating; even when not hungry, one continues to eat with great pleasure.
I am happy that she is my sister, and that she prioritizes hard work—focusing on creating quality food to serve to others, so that they may feel joy when eating what she has prepared.

That looks so delicious 👌😍
I do think your sister is right. You need to build up a customer base first before you can do anything about your prices. The best customer base, of course, comes through word of mouth. These will also be the people who remain loyal to you in the future, even if the price goes up. There’s a good chance that, if the price she’s asking is too low, she’ll naturally have to top it up, and that’s not the idea. I think what you’re showing looks absolutely lovely and appetising, and I hope your sister builds a brilliant business. Another thing she could do is raise the price slightly and, for example, give something away for free, or offer a discount if people order more. Lots of people would be happy with that too, and it also ensures satisfied customers and customer loyalty.
