Ogre!
A myth or a real creature.
Whether real or a myth, kids are scared all the same.
They eat children?
Something they cannot get out of their head.
Every unknown shape in the dark looks like an ogre.
I shouldn't have heard the story.
I shouldn't have seen the movie, now I cannot unsee what I have seen.
Poor kids, living with the trauma of not being safe from ogre.
Some adults are scared, I wonder what the kids would do.
It's interesting to watch for me.
I guess that's all it is for me.

Sorry, the wrong hashtag was used in the inktober prompt list. It should be #inktober2026!

How come everyone seems to know what an Ogre is?

I picked my from movies actually, and I've heard the story too. I love it, I use it to scare children who love making trouble.

I thought as much, I just wanted to be sure with the hashtag.

Thanks for the feedback.

🤣🤣🤣
Does it work? Children are smart these days.

You know children, some are scared at first.
You can't scare them for long, they'll eventually find out the truth.

That is one scary child eating monster, or is it eating or just holding the child?
What movie did you watch?

It's a folklore though, it's not real.
But it actually does eat humans, especially children in the folklore.
It's been included in several movies though, I think I remember seeing it in the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit.

Yes, I recently too heard it is in the Hobbit. I doubt I watched it. Perhaps I should.

There are more cultures having a boogie man scaring children, but not sure it is called Ogre

The Hobbit is interesting, you should watch it. I'm sure you will love it.

I think there are other stories different from Ogre, monsters that scare and frighten children.
