Bake || Prompt

I have a friend that bears Bake.
Although the pronunciation is different from the usual, probably because there are markings to indicate difference.
I laugh whenever I want to call her name.
The name eludes the meaning of the literal word.
But a name is a name.

That's by the way though.
When I was little, our birthday was fun for my siblings and I.
We had so much fun.
We baked cake for every single birthday.
I knew every birth date of my siblings and parents too.
It was fun because the cake was homemade, we participated in the buildup process of the cake.
I miss those days.
Now, we barely have time to share any of this moments.
I sometimes forget my birthday these past few years, the reminders and messages I get from my loved ones makes me recollect.
But those days were fun, we don't have time for home baked cakes anymore.
Some things we do for memory sake can be so easily forgotten and abandoned.
This prompt really opened up memories for me, taking me back memory lane
