Viral Old Tree Garden - Natore

Dear friends, I hope you are all doing well, and I am also Alhamdulillah, doing very well by the endless mercy of Allah. Today I will talk to you about a place, which is mainly near the Nator Rajbari, in front of this public building, named the Viral Tree Area. The name of this place itself is Viral Tree. I had seen these trees online even before. There are a few types of trees here: one is a mango tree, another is a betel nut tree, and there are other big and old trees as well.

I'm sure you would want to come here, and a love for nature is something that many people have. So, how will you get here? I'm telling you that whether you come from abroad or anywhere else, you will first arrive in the capital of Bangladesh. From there, you'll directly head to Natore District in Northern Bengal. Right beside Natore District, there is a place called Natore Rajbari. To put it more simply, you could just tell anyone that you want to go to Uttara Ganabhaban, you'll find this viral tree right in front of the gate.

You can get here very easily, and this is a public place where you don't need any kind of permission to enter. You can enter very easily and enjoy the open natural surroundings. There are mostly betel nut trees and mango trees here—these two types of trees are so old that they appear a bit unusual at first glance. They look very beautiful and there are big, large trees.

The viral tree is different in every way—sometimes a bit thick, sometimes a bit slim, sometimes tall, sometimes short. I observed it very closely and from my observations at work, I noticed that each one is different, yet all of them are old. These trees are along the roadside, sometimes as a garden next to the road, and sometimes near the garage. I don’t know if they bear betel nuts or mangoes, but I’ve heard they do.

I’ve seen many betel nut trees; we even have some at home, but these betel nut trees didn’t look like betel nut trees to me when I saw them. They’re so thick and incredibly tall, unlike anything I’ve ever seen. Moreover, I noticed that these betel nut trees had betel nut flowers on them. Betel nuts too. That’s when I was sure—you really are betel nut trees.

This place is not privately owned; rather, it is government property, and it hasn’t been privately owned for hundreds of years. However, those who ruled here, the kings and emperors, were the real owners of the property. Since there are old pillars and old vehicles here, and since kings ruled here, they were the owners and the ones in control.

Even though those rulers are no longer around, there are still specialists and leaders here. Especially those who have official responsibilities oversee these places. So, it’s hard to clearly say exactly when this place was established, but it can be said that it has been like this for a very long time. I also have five small shops near the viral tree where you can get food and there’s also a hotel.

Now the question is, when did I come here and why did I come? I basically came here on the 11th, last Friday, and the reason for coming here was just to wander around and share some views with you all. I went to quite a few other places as well, and this is one of them where I experienced the natural environment and the pure air, a truly natural breath.
