Hello friends,

How is everyone doing? I hope you are all well. Today, I am back with another entry for the drawing competition. My subject for today is an apple—specifically, an apple being held by a hand.

Materials Needed:

• Art paper
• Pencil
• Eraser
• Colored pencils
• Marker pen

Step-by-Step Drawing Process:

Step 1:

I began by drawing a hand, positioned as if it were holding something.

Step 2:

Next, I drew an apple within the grasp of the hand. I also added a leaf to the apple.

Step 3:

I colored the apple using a blend of red, yellow, green, and orange. After layering these colors, I finished by covering the entire apple with a final coat of red.

Step 4:

Then, I colored the leaves at the top of the apple using shades of yellow and green.

Step 5:

I colored the hand using a skin-tone shade. With this, the coloring process for the entire drawing was complete.

Step 6:

Using a marker pen, I added an outline to the entire drawing. The outline gave the image a whole new look.

Step 7:

Finally, I added my username next to the drawing, marking the completion of the entire illustration and coloring process.

It didn’t take much time to complete this drawing of a hand holding an apple. I managed to finish it quite quickly, though I made an effort to bring a sense of liveliness to the piece by including the hand. The main focus of the drawing is the act of the hand holding the apple. Overall, I am very pleased with the final look of the image. I am also delighted to have participated in this competition.
