Digital painting - a lady bug girl
Hello everyone, how are you all today? i hope everyone is having a great day.
Today i am here to share another old drawing i made of a girl inspired by the insect a ladybug. i tried to implement that design all over her.
I really like how this drawing turned out.

here are some process shots:
I started with a rough sketch but i had planned out what i wanted to draw so this was much cleaner than normal. didn't have to make a lot of changes.
I used multiple layers to block in different parts with different colors. because i want to make the drawing as cleanly as possible keeping separate layers will help with that.
I started with drawing the eyes. because its my favorite thing to draw and it quickly gets me in the mood to drawing.
I added some more colors to her face like blush or make up.
I Started working on the cloths and the hair a little bit.
Adding the highlights was a real fun part of this drawing. i can't believe how good it looks. a bit much but its okay.
I added more details to the other parts of the drawing and thus ended the whole process.
I used ipad 9th with apple pencil and procreate to create this drawing.

because i haven't posted them here yet and i want to share them. if you haven't seen it then its not exactly old or new to you, is it? like, you are a new person to me, but you are yourself hardly new. that doesn't mean i should discard you because you weren't born yesterday.

She looks good, except for the fact she lost a part of her right arm during the colouring process. Did you notice that?
Why a lady bug? I assume you know ladybugs are just bugs and can bite! You won't like it if they do.

thanks. the thing about the arm is that i am not good at drawing them. so whenever i draw something i either struggle a lot to draw the hand or just do what basically every artist tries to do. hide them behind something, in the pocket, behind the hair, under long sleeves and in this case tried to hide it behind her as though she is doing a pose. but of course not everything comes out perfect.

Same with me. I noticed the hand was at the back in your first drawings, but no longer with the end result. I believe it is due to the way it is coloured.
How about wearing gloves, this without fingers? Hands, arms, I find it all difficult and most do.
Still it is a great drawing
