Inktober 2026 #9: Ram & #10: Mystical

Honestly, I thought Ram was a baby sheep until I read it was very much the opposite, of a male.

When I drew my freewrite Ram and Mystical, I was thinking of a baby lamb. So the effect came out slightly different (or maybe a whole lot).

And together with the image of mystical, circles in a combination of dark bluish hues with some magical yellow came to mind.

I drew the numbering together and both had the numbering mistake which I then corrected by sticking a piece of paper on top and redrew.

Starting with the ram, it all began with the pencil...

And then the Sharpie ink...

After removing the pencil marks and correcting the numbering...

Then, the colors come...

And a bit more blush and grass...

When it came to the mystical part, all I thought of was circles of energy that engulfs the atmosphere, giving it a magical mystical feel.

Even though it was just circles, I had to start with the pencil first...

and move on to the ink...

A fairly simple rendition... rubbing off the pencil marks...

Adding the colors, one blue...

after another... added with yellow...
