Saturday photo bending

post was written on Saturday evening
As I sit here in the back seat of the tricycle, I can't help but keep staring at my phone screen doing nothing.
The environment isn't quiet enough for me to enjoy the movie recommended by @ladyaryastark. I can't take a nap either, because I'm afraid my phone and power bank might be taken by the wind while I sleep — besides, the chair isn't comfortable enough to offer me any sleep.
As I scroll through the images on my phone, I thought: why not play with my brother's image a bit? A photo we took in front of the plants I chose — not for their beauty, but to see how far I could change it from its first state.
I uploaded it onto IbisPaint X and used the background remover filter, leaving only the one man. I moved on to the backgrounds — formerly a mix of nature, but now a wall and a door with sand on the floor.
A little blending, a little shadowing, a little painting, and a little highlighting, and the image is close to done. An overlay of blue, and a last addition of the original image with its saturation on the negative — the final look is now born. Not so perfect that my brother was stunned, but he said he liked it. Truthfully, I thought his reaction was fake, as I expected a jab in my skull. Under @ariscoco1's permission, the final image is posted. I do hope it goes well as your profile back photo, or perhaps something of your choice.
What's with this guy, you may think — but don't forget, I'll always do something uncalled for as your little brother.

Hi! Let me know what you think of the movies when you see them.
Regarding your use of time, we can say that you made good use of it, because you are producing excellent drawings and modifications.
By the way, is the app you're using free? And do you use a tablet with a stylus to use it?
Have a great week!
Watched the movie but couldn't come online cos my dad was sick. Sorry I'm replying late.
I think Bicentennial Man is more acceptable than AI, but they are both interesting movies. The thing is, AI never got to be a real human from the looks of things, and the ending felt a little lonely to me — the bot got his wish, but what about the woman? And what about in the long run? I can't help but keep wondering if she also wished to be alone with the machine kid. Perhaps it would make more sense that she's fine without anyone else. But the bot finally got his wish, I guess, or would say.
To the other question, yup, IbisPaint X is free, although if you want full function, you'd have to pay for the real Ibis Paint app or apply for premium on the X version. I actually use my finger and my Android phone. It would be good to have a tablet, stylus, and PC, but that's a prayer yet to be answered. But can't laze around cos I don't have all the tools ready.
Hi! I hope your dad is feeling better; a father is the most important thing we have!
I think these movies should be watched every now and then; when I saw them a little over 10 years ago, one saw them as pure fiction and entertainment. Today, we have to look at it from a philosophical perspective because technology is making it possible.
By the way, if you have time, there's a Halloween contest in the Dream Steem community. Best wishes to your father, blessings!
He's feeling better now. He just has to check his sugar level regularly and rest. Father's are very important in our homes
All true, and even I would have doubted if someone told me androids would later exist, but it's nice that we get to see it. I just hope someone doesn't invent one of the scary fictions.
Speaking of scary fictions, I'm in. I'll start brainstorming on what to write as my entry into the Halloween contest.
please, do you have any other movie recommendations? Just one to watch when I'm less busy.
I'm glad he's better. You must take good care of him, because sometimes we don't want to follow the doctor's recommendations!
Since we're on the topic of artificial intelligence/science fiction, I recommend a couple of movies: Ready Player One by Steven Spielberg and Her. I don't remember who directed Her, but the movie is about love and artificial intelligence.
That's great that you're trying to join the contest! I'm so glad! Have a wonderful weekend!
Almost mistook ready player one for Ra one (an Indian movie). Had to search to be sure.
You too have a super wonderful weekend
Indian films are full of creativity; I think they would make great science fiction!
For real!
One just need be careful not to experiment their film tricks so one doesn't have a painful crossover😂, you get what I mean.
Real Humans is good. Two films and the bad, hackinggbrobots/AI already exist perhaps you should read the cyberpunk stories.
Cyberpunk stories are good, I will try Reading some soon.
InfindbAIbsad and that lady had a disgusting son. I would have send him to the trasfoeld instead of the robot boy
ET is also still good. Watch Mr Bean, the cartoons are also good to kill time.
If you look on YouTube there are also films to watch or series you can download.
I like: Initial D (anime)
So you also watch Mr. Bean, huh? 😏 It's actually been a while since I watched an episode. Never watched it without laughing 😂. Guess I have a next bus stop after Ready Player One, which @ladyaryastark recommended.
This is the only week I have left to enjoy movie vibes without fear. (University resumes on Monday, but I'm resuming this weekend. Will start to miss home again 😭)
Upvoted! Thank you for supporting witness @jswit.
It is not too bad, you just didn't pay much attention to your layout. It seems to me you are very busy and more into writing. If I travel I write too, unfortunately I cannot paint during those times. I have the ideas but once home...
😫 So it's bad to some extent — no wonder my bro doesn't really like it. I guess photo editing isn't really my thing; I'll learn from a professional later.
True, I've been writing more recently. Can't really tell why, but it's faster cos I'm a bit of a thinker, and sometimes my mind just wants to do only one thing 😫
Good/comfortable Environment is also part of the process. Not to forget this from kung fu panda
