Inktober2026 #1 / Apple
Assalamu'alaikum everyone.
I am @bimanakhan from #Bangladesh
Hello friends,
How is everyone doing? I hope that by the grace of Allah, you are all doing very well—I am doing great, Alhamdulillah. With respect and love for everyone, I am beginning a new entry for this competition. I am participating in the drawing competition featuring 31 themes for Inktober 2026. For today, I have drawn an 'apple'—the first theme of the competition. I have tried to create a beautiful, colorful apple, and I hope you all enjoy it. Without further ado, let me share my drawing process, step by step.
🔸 White art paper
🔸 Pencil
🔸 Eraser
🔸 Water colour
🔸 Black gel pen
Step 1:
First, I drew the apple's stem, along with its leaf.
Step 2:
Next, I drew the apple itself, connecting it to the stem and leaf. Once the apple was attached to the stem and leaf, the drawing took its complete form.
Step 3:
In the third step, I colored the apple using several different shades—green, yellow, and red. I left some parts of the apple yellow to give it a more realistic appearance.
Step 4:
Then, I colored the stem brown, and the leaf with shades of green and yellow. With this, the coloring of the apple is complete.
Step 5:
Next, I added a soft, dark shadow beneath the apple, which enhances the overall beauty of the drawing.
Step 6:
Then, I used a black gel pen to outline the apple; adding an outline really brings out the beauty of the drawing.
Step 7:
Finally, I wrote my username below the apple, concluding my drawing process here.
Thank you to the steemit Platform and thank you to all my brothers, sisters and friends working on the steemit Platform. I hope that we will all be able to do more beautiful work in the future with respect and love for this platform and that we will be able to move forward much further with the inspiration of our colleagues. I am leaving here today with the hope that everyone will be well and healthy. May Allah Hafez protect us.

Lo que aprendí viendo tu proceso es que dejar partes amarillas en la manzana es lo que la hace ver real y no plástica. Una pregunta sin vueltas: ¿por qué el delineado con gel negro recién al final y no antes de las sombras?
What a wonderful and amazing art and a apple look so realistic and unique with full of colours and life. Wishing you good luck.
Thank you so much.
