Hello, fellow INKtober participants! For today’s theme, "Beacon," I’ve drawn a lighthouse perched on a coastal cliff. This lighthouse serves as a warning signal for passing ships, alerting them to potential dangers ahead.
The drawing tools used are one pen and a sheet of blank white paper.
The first step is to create a rough sketch of a tall, tower-like building.
Next, we make the image clearer and add a few trees and houses as supporting elements.
Next, once the sketch is complete, we begin adding fine strokes—such as cross-hatching or shading—using a pen.
also adding shading to the surrounding trees and houses, as well as a few birds flying about
I wonder if you have a lighthouse nearby.
I live those rocks. The last one I saw was surrounded by buildings. How time changes. The lighthouse carrier is most likely a computer and no longer a lonely man, stuck in a tower on an a high cliff.

thank you for the support
I didn't know that lighthouses serve as warning signals for passing ships; I learned this through your post. Your artwork is fantastic!
What did you think lighthouses were meant for?
I wonder if you have a lighthouse nearby.

I have seen it before.
